This Privacy Policy explains how Wekiwu LLC, trading as AxisGlam ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, software, and services (the "Service"). Wekiwu LLC is the data controller responsible for your personal information. We handle your information in accordance with applicable data-protection laws, including the GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA/CPRA (California).

1. Information We Collect

Email address: Provided voluntarily when making purchases, activating a license, or accessing your owned library. Used to associate purchased assets and licenses with your account and to send order and activation confirmations.
License activation data: When you activate a license, the app transmits a device fingerprint (hashed hardware identifiers) and your license key to our license server so we can enforce the per-license device limit. We retain this association for the life of the license.
Usage data: Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request timestamps) retained for security and operational purposes. Logs are not sold or shared with third parties.
Payment data: Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Uploaded assets: Files you upload to the Marketplace are stored on Cloudinary. By uploading, you confirm you have the right to share the content.
AI feature inputs: When you invoke optional cloud-assisted AI features, the relevant image or text you submit is sent to a third-party AI provider for inference. See Section 4.

2. How We Use Your Information

To process and fulfill purchases and grant access to purchased Assets.
To issue, validate, and enforce software licenses, including the per-license device limit.
To maintain and improve the security and reliability of the Service.
To respond to support requests you initiate.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/UK Users)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract — to fulfill purchases and provide licensed software; (b) legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent fraud, and enforce license terms; (c) consent — for any optional features you opt into; and (d) legal obligation — where we must retain records for tax or compliance purposes.

4. Third-Party Services and Subprocessors

Stripe (payment processing) — Privacy Policy.
Cloudinary (asset storage and delivery) — Privacy Policy.
Railway (license server hosting) — Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts (fonts loaded on page view) — Privacy Policy.
AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI): Certain optional, opt-in AI features route prompts or images to Anthropic and/or OpenAI for inference. When you invoke those features, the content you submit is sent to the provider under their respective terms. On-device AI features (background removal, upscaling, etc.) run entirely on your computer and do not transmit data. See the Anthropic Privacy Policy and OpenAI Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

The AxisGlam website uses only minimal session state (e.g., filter preferences stored in-memory per page load). We do not use persistent tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics at this time.

6. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred out of the EU/UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards offered by each subprocessor.

7. Data Retention

Purchase and license records (email, license key, device associations) are kept as long as needed to honor your ownership rights, enforce license terms, handle support inquiries, and meet legal-retention requirements. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time; note that deleting purchase records will remove your ability to reinstall purchased assets or re-activate licenses.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your data ("right to erasure").
Port your data to another service in a common, machine-readable format.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent.
Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) additionally have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below these ages.

10. Security

License-server communication uses TLS with certificate pinning and HMAC signature verification on server responses. We rely on industry-standard security controls at our subprocessors. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will note the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
